How to read an advice card

Anatomy of a Timi card — severity, type, badges, CTAs, disclaimer.

One grammar across every card

Every Timi card follows the same grammar. Once you know how to decode it, you read 5 cards in 30 seconds.

Anatomy of a card

1. Severity

Three levels, signalled by a coloured pill at the top-left:

| Severity | Colour | When | |---|---|---| | info | Purple / blue | Useful information, not urgent. | | attention | Orange | To review this week. | | urgent | Red | Action within 48-72h. |

2. The title

Short (under 60 characters), interpolated with your context. Examples:

  • Acme mission ends in 14 days
  • Corporate tax instalment in 12 days
  • New Financial Mood milestone

3. The body

1 to 3 sentences. Never prescriptive ("you must") but always pedagogical ("you can", "here is").

4. Badges

Depending on the card, you may see:

  • Domain badgefiscal, contract, wellbeing, finance, strategy, activation.
  • Impact badge (Strategy cards) — green pill like ~12 k€/year.
  • AI badgeAI generated — verify with a pro. Today no card carries this badge (all deterministic), but it is ready for Phase 8.

5. Actions (CTAs)

A primary action (filled button) and sometimes a secondary action (text). Examples:

  • Go deeper — opens the strategy detail
  • View opportunities — opens the opportunities list
  • Talk to a chartered accountant — opens the pre-filtered experts list
  • Adjust my day rate — opens the day-rate calculator

6. The disclaimer

Automatic suffix depending on the regulated domain:

  • FiscalOfficial fiscal calendar impots.gouv.fr — Timi ne se substitue pas à un expert-comptable.
  • Banking / creditTimi does not recommend any bank or broker. For credit, consult an IOBSP registered with ORIAS.
  • InvestmentTimi can describe product families for educational purposes but does not recommend any named product. For personalised advice, consult a CIF registered with ORIAS.

What can you do with a card?

  • Tap the primary action — you are deep-linked to the relevant screen (input modal, tool, list).
  • Snooze (Later) — the card disappears until the underlying signal re-fires.
  • Dismiss permanently — the card disappears and its ID is remembered. It won't come back unless you reinstall the app.

How does Timi prioritise cards?

The order is computed via:

score = severity × type × urgency × confidence

| Constant | Value | |---|---| | Severity urgent | 100 | | Severity attention | 60 | | Severity info | 30 | | Type boost alert | × 1.2 | | Type boost planning | × 1.1 | | Type boost opportunity | × 1.0 | | Urgency decay (≤ 7d) | × 1.3 |

On ties, the advisor order acts as tie-breaker (Onboarding > Strategy > Contract > Activation > Fiscal > Wellbeing > Financing).

[!tip] If a category feels noisy, dismiss its cards one by one — the system learns locally.
