AI Assistant Terms of Use

Framework for using the AI-powered conversational assistant integrated into Timint services.

Last updated: April 3, 2026

Service Description

Timint integrates an AI-powered conversational assistant (hereinafter 'the AI Assistant') allowing Users to ask questions related to financial management, understanding application features, and related topics.

The AI Assistant is offered as part of Timint services operated by Les Artisans du Digital. Property rights relating to the Timint solution are held by Jemitilab.

Technologies used: OpenAI GPT-4o-mini language model, OpenAI text-embedding-3-large embeddings model (RAG semantic search). Provider: OpenAI Inc., San Francisco, CA, USA.

The AI Assistant uses a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system that searches for relevant information in the Timint knowledge base, generates a response combining this information with conversation context, and can access the User's financial context (if authorized) to personalize responses.

Transparency (AI Act)

In accordance with the European AI Regulation (AI Act - EU Regulation 2024/1689): you are interacting with an artificial intelligence system, not a human. The system is classified as limited risk (AI system interacting with natural persons). The primary transparency obligation is met by this disclosure.

Limitations and Warnings

The AI Assistant does NOT provide: personalized financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, or accounting advice. Responses are for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified professional for your financial decisions.

Responses are automatically generated and may contain errors or inaccuracies ('hallucinations'). Information may be outdated. Calculations and projections are approximate. The AI Assistant does not have access to real-time data (financial markets, exchange rates, etc.).

Timint disclaims all liability for decisions made based on AI Assistant responses. The User uses the Assistant at their own risk.

Data and Privacy

When using the AI Assistant, the following data may be transmitted to OpenAI: your question or message, conversation context, anonymized financial data if necessary for the response.

Under OpenAI API terms of use: OpenAI does not reuse data sent via the API to train its models. Data is retained by OpenAI for a maximum of 30 days for abuse detection. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) governs the processing.

Data is transferred to the United States (OpenAI headquarters). This transfer is governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

Data NOT transmitted: your password, payment data, private messaging messages (E2E encrypted).

Acceptable Use

Authorized uses: questions about personal and professional financial management, understanding Timint features, help interpreting simulations, general questions about taxation, accounting, etc.

Prohibited uses: attempting to generate illegal or harmful content, attempting to bypass Assistant limitations, entering third-party personal data, using the Assistant for fraudulent activities.

Intellectual Property

The AI Assistant service, its interfaces, and its integration within Timint are part of the platform operated by Les Artisans du Digital under granted rights. However, responses generated by the AI Assistant are not subject to any intellectual property claim by Timint. Users are free to use these responses at their own responsibility.

Changes

Timint may modify, improve, or replace the AI model used at any time, to improve service quality. Users will be informed of significant changes.
