Financial Data Policy

How Timint collects, processes, stores, and protects financial data entered in the application's financial features.

Last updated: April 3, 2026

Introduction

This Financial Data Policy describes how Les Artisans du Digital, operator of Timint services, collects, processes, stores, and protects the financial data you enter in Timint's financial features.

This policy supplements Timint's general Privacy Policy and specifically addresses financial data, which requires particular attention due to its sensitive nature.

Property rights relating to the Timint solution are held by Jemitilab. Operation of financial features is managed by Les Artisans du Digital.

Nature of Financial Data Processed

Data declared by User: income (amounts, sources, frequency), pricing (daily rate, hourly rate, salary), expenses (professional charges, rent, loans), real estate assets (addresses, values, rental income), savings and investments (amounts, goals), tax information (regime, marital status, dependents), contracts and clients (amounts, durations), and financial goals (monthly, annual).

Data generated by Services: simulation results, financial mood (score and history), progress and badges, revenue timer and momentum history.

Fundamental Principles

All financial data is manually entered by the User. Timint does not automatically connect to bank accounts, does not verify declared amounts, does not access bank statements, and does not perform any automatic bank aggregation.

Information, simulations, and projections generated by Timint are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute personalized financial advice, investment advice, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell. Timint is not a financial institution, CIF, or IOBSP.

The User retains full control of their financial data: they choose what data to enter, can modify or delete it at any time, and decide what is visible on their public profile.

Financial Data Security

Protection measures: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS 1.3), encryption at rest (Firebase/Google Cloud), restricted access, enhanced authentication (MFA and biometrics available), data isolation (Firestore security rules), and logging of access to sensitive data.

Data NOT stored by Timint: full credit card numbers, bank identifiers (IBAN, routing numbers), bank account passwords, PIN codes or security codes.

Financial Data Sharing

Your financial data is never sold to third parties, shared with advertisers, used for advertising profiling, or transmitted to financial institutions without your consent.

Limited sharing: OpenAI (AI assistant) receives anonymized financial context to answer questions. Technical subcontractors (Firebase) store data in encrypted form. Authorities only receive data upon judicial requisition.

If the User chooses a public profile, only the financial mood (gamified visual representation) may be visible. Actual amounts are never made public.

Retention and Deletion

Declared financial data: retained for the duration of the contractual relationship. Simulations: retained according to User preferences. Mood history: retained for the duration of the relationship.

The User may at any time individually delete financial entries, request complete deletion via privacy@timint.app, or close their account.

The User may request export of their financial data in a structured and machine-readable format (JSON/CSV).

Specific Consent

Use of Timint's financial features requires specific User consent, separate from acceptance of the Terms of Use. This consent is collected upon first entry of financial data, with timestamp and policy version reference.

This consent is revocable at any time.
