Auto-Entrepreneur
Simplified tax scheme in France for individual entrepreneurs. Revenue ceiling: €188,700 (sales) or €77,700 (services). Flat-rate charges. Timint simulates the tax impact of this scheme.
B
Break-Even Point
The revenue level at which your activity begins covering its expenses and generating profits. Calculable via Timint's entrepreneur simulator.
Bubble
Thematic group in Timint's network (tech, finance, real estate, creativity...). Bubbles allow exchanging with professionals who share your interests.
C
Cash Flow
Cash flow. Difference between cash inflows and outflows over a given period. Positive means more money comes in than goes out. Timint calculates it in real time for each source and for your overall portfolio.
Commission
Percentage taken by Timint on Marketplace transactions. Ranges from 8% to 15% depending on assignment type and volume. Always displayed transparently before confirmation.
Corporate Tax (IS)
Tax on company profits (SASU, SAS, SARL, etc.). Rate: 15% up to €42,500 then 25%. Timint's status simulator compares the impact of corporate tax vs. income tax.
CRA
Activity Report (Compte Rendu d'Activité). Document summarizing time spent by a consultant on an assignment. Timint allows creating, sending, and signing them online with OTP verification.
D
Daily Rate (TJM)
Average Daily Rate. Amount billed per working day by a freelancer or consultant. Timint calculates it from your working hours and automatically adjusts it based on your actual productivity per client.
DCA
Dollar-Cost Averaging. Strategy of investing a fixed amount at regular intervals regardless of price. Simulatable in Timint's financial tools.
Deposit/Retainer
Partial payment before service delivery or property occupancy. Adjustable by percentage in Timint for real estate bookings and appointments.
E
EBITDA
Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization. Key indicator of operational profitability. Timint's simulators calculate it for freelancers and small business owners.
EURL
Single-member limited liability company. Legal form for a one-person company, derived from SARL. Subject to corporate tax or income tax depending on the director's choice.
EWA
Earned Wage Access. Service allowing access to part of your already-earned salary before payday. It's not a loan: it's early access to your earned money.
Exchange Protocol
Intelligent system for exchanging skills and services between Timint members. Offer your services, request others', and build a trust network based on mutual reviews.

Factoring
Financing technique (also called invoice financing) of assigning your invoices to a third party for an immediate cash advance, without waiting for client payment. Module available on Timint.
Financial Mood
Gamified system of 17 levels in Timint, based on your average monthly income. Each tier's totem reflects your financial progression. Shareable anonymously with the community.
Financial Projection
Estimate of your future income based on your current pace, active contracts, and seasonal patterns. Timint generates weekly, monthly, and annual projections that update in real time.
FIRE
Financial Independence, Retire Early. Movement aiming for financial independence and early retirement. Timint's FIRE calculator estimates the savings needed based on your goals.

Hourly Rate
Amount billed or earned per hour of work. Timint calculates it from your daily rate and actual hours, revealing the true rate per client including overtime.
I
Income Tax (IR)
Progressive tax on individual income. Timint projects your estimated income tax based on your declared revenues and family situation.
Intro Connect
Referral introduction feature in Timint. A mutual contact introduces you to another professional. Acceptance rate is 3x higher than a direct request.
Invoice Financing
French synonym for factoring. Operation where a business assigns its trade receivables to an entity (the factor) in exchange for immediate financing.

KYC
Know Your Customer. Mandatory identity verification process for financial services. On Timint: ID document, bank details, and professional document via Stripe Connect.
L
LMNP
Non-Professional Furnished Rental. Tax status for furnished rental income below €23,000/year. Allows property and expense depreciation. Simulated in Timint's real estate tools.
LMP
Professional Furnished Rental. Tax status for furnished rental when income exceeds €23,000/year and represents the majority of household income. Requires additional social contributions.
M
Marketplace
Integrated marketplace in Timint where businesses and freelancers connect. Companies post assignments and consultants apply. Commission from 8 to 15% depending on type and volume.
MFA
Multi-Factor Authentication. Security method requiring at least two proofs of identity. Timint supports SMS, authenticator apps, and biometrics.
Momentum
Gamification system in Timint that rewards your good financial and professional habits. Log your activities across 5 categories, complete quests, and level up.
Multi-Income
Strategy of diversifying income sources: freelancing, employment, real estate, side projects, dividends. Timint aggregates all these sources into a unified dashboard.
P
Passive Income
Income generated without direct daily activity: rental yields, dividends, royalties. Timint tracks passive income in real time alongside your active income in a unified counter.
Payout
Transfer of collected funds to the seller/service provider's bank account. Timint payouts are processed automatically via Stripe according to the configured schedule.
Portage Salarial
Hybrid status between employment and independence. The freelancer is employed by an umbrella company that invoices their clients. Timint offers a dedicated simulator for comparison with other statuses.

Real-Time Counter
Timint's signature feature that displays your earnings second by second. Based on your daily rate and working hours, it shows your income in €/s, €/min, and €/h. Available on iPhone, Apple Watch, and webapp.
Rental Yield
Ratio between annual rent and property purchase price. Gross yield = rent/price × 100. Net yield accounts for expenses, taxes, and vacancy. Calculable in Timint's real estate simulators.
ROI
Return On Investment. Ratio between net profit and initial investment, expressed as a percentage. Measures investment profitability. Calculable via Timint simulators.
S
SASU
Simplified single-shareholder joint-stock company. Legal form for a one-person company in France. Allows salary and/or dividend payments. Timint's simulator compares different legal statuses.
Seller Hub
Financial transaction management center in Timint. Centralizes KYC status, payment history, transfers, commission invoices, and bank statements.
Social Contributions
Mandatory deductions from activity income: health insurance, retirement, unemployment. Amount varies by legal status. Timint includes a simulator to calculate them precisely.
Strategic Blueprint
Personalized financial plan generated by Timint's AI. Analyzes your situation and proposes optimization scenarios: legal structuring, salary/dividend mix, and trajectory over 1, 3, and 5 years.
Stripe Connect
Payment infrastructure used by Timint to manage transactions between buyers and sellers. Allows professionals to receive payments and transfers securely.

Timesheet
Time record document. Records time spent per task/client. Timint allows creating, submitting for signature, and verifying them via a unique cryptographic code.
Trusted Device
A device verified via MFA in Timint that benefits from simplified verification for 30 days. Manageable from security settings.
Tutorial
Interactive guide built into the Timint app. Walks you step by step through setting up your profile, adding income sources, and discovering features. Can be replayed at any time.
V
Vacancy
Period when a rental property is not tenanted and not generating income. Factored into Timint's simulators for calculating realistic net yield.
VAT
Value Added Tax. Indirect consumption tax. Freelancers above the exemption threshold must charge and remit it. Timint integrates VAT into its projections and simulators.
