The Timint mobile application allows the User to connect one or more electronic commerce platforms (including Shopify, and any other platform added at a later date) in order to automatically import, on a read-only basis, the data required to compute their business revenue.
7 bis.1 Nature of the service. The e-commerce connection feature allows Timint to collect, through the third-party platform's official APIs, information relating to paid, shipped, refunded or cancelled orders (amounts, currencies, statuses, dates, order numbers, item counts, delivery country at country-code level) in order to feed the User's revenue counter, dashboard and projections.
7 bis.2 Activation and revocation. The connection is initiated by the User from within the application, through a secure OAuth 2.0 protocol (Shopify Public Partner App). Access tokens issued by the third-party platform are stored encrypted within Google Cloud Platform's secret manager (europe-west1 region). The User may revoke a connection at any time, either from the Timint application or from the third-party platform's administration area. Revocation immediately stops synchronization, without deleting previously imported history.
7 bis.3 User responsibility. The User remains solely responsible for the compliance of the commercial activity carried out through the third-party platform, for the associated tax and reporting obligations, and for compliance with the third-party platform's terms of use. Timint acts neither as a seller, nor as a payment intermediary, nor as a custodian of funds.
7 bis.4 Indicative value of the data displayed. Amounts imported from third-party platforms are provided for information purposes only. They do not constitute an enforceable accounting, tax or legal record, do not replace the User's own bookkeeping, and do not engage Timint's liability as to the accuracy of the data supplied by the source platform. Where a discrepancy with the source platform is observed, the source platform's data prevails as the official record.
7 bis.5 Best-efforts undertaking. Synchronization is provided on a best-efforts basis. Although periodic reconciliation mechanisms are implemented (automatic reconciliation every 6 hours, daily health check, exponential retry of webhooks), no contractual delay is guaranteed for a transaction to appear in the counter.
7 bis.6 Usage limits. The maximum number of simultaneously active connections per user is set at five (5). This limit may be adjusted at the operator's discretion.
7 bis.7 Subscription required. Access to e-commerce connections is reserved for users holding an active Timint Pro subscription (or higher). Cancelling the subscription deactivates the connections, without immediately deleting the imported history. History is retained for ninety (90) days after deactivation, then purged unless the User requests otherwise.
7 bis.8 Shopify Partner application compliance. The Shopify integration is operated through a public Shopify Partner application subject to Shopify's review process. Timint implements all required mandatory webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact), guarantees effective deletion of data within forty-eight (48) hours of uninstallation, and complies with Shopify's acceptable use policies.
