Marketplace Terms of Use

Rules applicable to the marketplace integrated into Timint services, governing the connection between Experts and Clients.

Last updated: April 3, 2026

Purpose

These Marketplace Terms define the rules applicable to the use of the marketplace integrated into Timint Services, enabling the connection between providers (hereinafter 'Experts' or 'Sellers') and clients (hereinafter 'Clients' or 'Buyers').

These terms supplement Timint's Terms of Use and Terms of Service.

The Timint Marketplace is published and operated by Les Artisans du Digital. Property rights relating to the Timint solution are held by Jemitilab.

Role of Timint

Timint acts as a technical intermediary and host under applicable legislation. Timint provides the technical infrastructure for matchmaking, provides the payment system via Stripe Connect, is not a party to service contracts between Experts and Clients, and does not guarantee the quality, compliance, or legality of services offered.

Timint does not employ the Experts, does not verify Expert qualifications (except verified profiles where applicable), does not set service rates, and does not guarantee Expert availability.

Expert/Seller Registration

To offer services on the Marketplace, Experts must: have an active Timint Account, be at least 18 years old, hold the necessary qualifications, diplomas, and authorizations, complete the identity verification process (KYC) required by Stripe Connect, accept these Marketplace Terms, and comply with applicable regulations.

Identity verification is performed by Stripe and may include: identity document, proof of address, banking information, and business information. Timint does not have access to KYC documents, which are processed and stored exclusively by Stripe.

Experts create a profile including: professional information, profile photo, service description, rates and terms, availability. Experts guarantee the accuracy of this information.

Service Publishing

Experts may create service offers including: title and description, pricing model (hourly or fixed, excl. or incl. VAT), amount and applicable VAT rate, service duration, delivery method (online, in-person, hybrid), and cancellation policy.

Prohibited on the Marketplace: illegal services or services contrary to public order, financial, legal, or medical advice without required qualifications and approvals, discriminatory services, any service requiring a license or approval the Expert does not hold.

Booking and Payment

Clients may book a service through the Expert's profile or public booking page, selecting an available slot and confirming terms and pricing. Booking acceptance may be automatic or manual, depending on Expert configuration.

Payment modes: free (no payment required), full payment before service, deposit (a percentage charged at booking), or payment after service.

Payments are processed by Stripe Connect. Timint never has access to the Client's complete card data.

Timint charges a commission on each transaction, communicated to the Expert during setup and indicated to the Client before validation. Funds are transferred to the Expert's bank account via Stripe Connect, after deduction of Timint commission and Stripe fees.

Cancellation and Refund

Each Expert defines their cancellation policy: Flexible (free cancellation up to 24h before appointment), Moderate (up to 48h, 50% penalty), Strict (up to 72h, 100% penalty), or Custom (deadline and penalty defined by Expert).

Clients may cancel according to the Expert's policy. Refunds are made via the original payment method. If the Expert cancels a confirmed service, the Client receives a full refund.

In case of Client no-show without prior cancellation, strict cancellation policy terms apply.

Expert Obligations

Experts agree to: provide services as described in the published listing, respect appointment times, hold adequate professional insurance, issue invoices and documents required by regulations, declare income in accordance with tax regulations, and respect professional confidentiality where applicable.

Client Obligations

Clients agree to: provide accurate information when booking, attend appointments or cancel within the specified timeframe, pay amounts due, and respect the terms defined by the Expert.

User Disputes

In case of dispute between an Expert and a Client, parties are invited to attempt to resolve the matter directly.

If unsuccessful, parties may request Timint's intervention as mediator. Timint may examine provided evidence, propose an amicable solution, and proceed with full or partial refund if justified. Timint's mediation decision is not binding.

Tax Obligations (DAC7)

In accordance with EU Directive DAC7, Timint is required to collect and transmit to tax authorities certain information regarding Experts conducting transactions on the Marketplace: identity and contact details, tax identification number, total transaction amount, number of transactions, and commissions charged.

Liability

Timint is not responsible for: the quality, compliance, or legality of services provided by Experts, damages resulting from the contractual relationship between Expert and Client, service delays or cancellations, accuracy of information provided by Experts.

These Marketplace Terms are available in 12 languages. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
