[!warning] Status: design, implementation in phases (Phase 1 = 4-6 weeks). The Card Wallet is not yet shipped. What follows describes the validated product spec.

The promise

After every professional encounter, their card lands in your wallet — alive, classified, retrievable in 2 seconds by domain. You no longer have to ask for a paper card, or forget the LinkedIn you never added.

The Card Wallet is the second product pillar of Timint, alongside Coach Timi:

• Coach Timi = proactive intelligence that pushes the right advice at the right time.
• Card Wallet = organised, queryable, living relational capital.

What we fix

The current ecosystem is broken:

• LinkedIn = cold database, no transactional context.
• Apple Wallet = payments, not relationships.
• CamCard / Microsoft Lens = OCR of paper cards, no intelligence.
• iOS NameDrop = vCard exchange, loses all visual and contextual richness.

Timint's Card Wallet: every professional encounter = visual, living card (front/back, mood, services, verified), added to a smart wallet filterable by domain, with real-time updates when the sender modifies their card.

How a card is added

3 methods:

• QR scan — from the camera or from Timint. If you have the app, direct add to wallet. Otherwise, AppStore.
• Phone-tap NFC — you tap two phones together.
• Deep link — link shared in DM, Slack, email. Tap to open the wallet add sheet.

The wallet is live (not a snapshot)

Every card in your wallet is a reference (live link) — not a frozen copy. When the sender updates their card (new first name, new service, new mood), the card in your wallet updates in real time.

If the sender deactivates or deletes their account, the card goes into "archived" mode with a clear notice.

Smart filters by Timi

Beyond manual filters (by domain, city, date), Timi generates dynamic smart filters:

• My investors
• My active providers
• Recent cards (7d)
• You haven't spoken to them in 90d

Privacy by default

[!note] The wallet is private. No one knows who has your card in their wallet, unless they share it voluntarily (existing Intro Connect).

• Private annotations (notes like met at Vivatech, interested in our stack) — never visible to the sender.
• You can flag a card as private (visible only to you).
• Removing a card from the wallet = local soft delete + Firestore revocation. The sender is not notified.

GDPR

• Legal basis — legitimate interest (organising the professional network) + explicit consent for mutual follow.
• Portability — full CSV / JSON / vCard export.
• Erasure — account deletion → card revoked from ALL wallets within 7 days (cloud function purgeRevokedCards).
• No copy of sender data in the card; everything is resolved via live link.
