The Timi moment, in the physical world

The promise
You tap your phone against a prospect's, and your two cards exchange instantly, with a shareable visual "wow" animation.
This is the Timi moment — Timint's visual signature in the physical world.
How it works (planned)
- You open the Carte Pro screen or the wallet — NFC is active when the app is in the foreground.
- You bring your iPhone close to another iPhone (or Android HCE device) — distance < 4 cm.
- Visual animation, 800-1200 ms — your two cards glide symbolically, synchronised Light haptic.
- Encrypted exchange in under 1.5 sec — via Firebase Functions callable (TLS). No unencrypted NFC broadcast.
- Both cards land in your respective wallets — with an automatic "Trade show X" tag if geolocation is enabled.
If the other person does not have Timint
The tap opens a deep link to the AppStore / PlayStore with their future card pre-staged for onboarding. They install Timint, and on first launch they see Marc shared his card with you — add it to your wallet?.
This is the deferred deep link — viral conversion via the physical gesture.
NameDrop iOS 17+
For iOS 17+ users, we coexist with native NameDrop (standard vCard) and our custom NFC. NameDrop remains useful for sharing a vCard text; our NFC is designed for the Timint visual experience.
Security
- End-to-end encrypted exchange via Firebase Functions callable (TLS).
- No NFC broadcast in the clear.
- Consent on add: the
/wallet/addsheet asks for explicit confirmation before the card is added.
